Teaching team

Jaqui Wan (www.jaquiwan.com) has studied various hatha and vinyasa styles over the past 20 years. She is drawn to practices that explores both the delicacies and potential of the human form, hence her long term connection with the Thai massage practice. Her teaching style is both supportive and challenging, with ample doses of humour and playfulness. In the past 10 years she developed a passion for partner acrobatics both as base and flyer, becoming a familiar participant and teacher in the European acrobatics convention and festival circuit. Jaqui created Bodhitrix, a platform encouraging collaborative acrobatic play. Its first product, The Players Deck is now a popular card game to challenge and stimulate the creativity of partner acrobats in infinite combinations. Jaqui is motivated in discovering creative ways and new opportunities for yoga, acroyoga and acrobatics to cross over and enrich everyday life for anyone and everyone.

Marc Bauchet (www.acromarco.com) transitioned from martial arts to yoga at the end of 2001 with daily practice, evolving throughout the years into various styles (Bikram, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Contact Yoga). To follow his passion for taking yoga and massage in the air, he became certified in teaching Contact Yoga, AcroYoga and Tulayoga. In the continuity of his love for connected movement he also dived in Contact Improvisation and Argentine tango, which are now weaved into his teaching. AcroYoga allows him to connect his healing modalities (Thai massage, Tulayoga, Rolfing) and the fiery fun of partner acrobatics. He now travel the world sharing the joy and benefits of these ancestral and evolving practices.
